About Me.
Dillon Parsons recently graduated from the University for the Creative Arts with a Bachelor's in Film Production (2023). He is an aspiring filmmaker who predominantly works in documentary filmmaking, sound recording, and designing. He is currently most known for his work on documentary shorts that focus on the animal and climate justice movement, 'You have four years' (2021) and 'No Other Choice' (2022). He is also known for his social media-focused filmmaking work for Animal Rebellion which led to him becoming the creative director for the organisation in 2021-2022. Leading to 2023, Dillon worked on a new and upcoming feature film "Take Cover" as a sound trainee and also spent two weeks in Dubai with Plant Based News as a videographer and video editor. Dillon is looking to continue his work as a filmmaker and sound recording & design in 2024.

Sound design
During his time at the University for the Creative Arts, Dillon specialised in training as a sound designer/ recordist in which he recorded and mixed the sound for several fiction films and also a 30-second Kodak commercial, here he developed his skills in-depth with Pro-tools and sound recording equipment such as Sound Devices 63, Sennheiser 416, Sennheiser Ew100 64 and IEM's. The results of these projects can be watched in the portfolio section of the website.

Documentary
Over the last three years, Dillon has developed his skills as a documentary filmmaker, beginning by creating short films for the organisation Animal Rebellion in 2020, to creating the five minute short 'A Pilot's conflict' (2020) and then progressing to completing his most recent documentaries, 'You have four years' (2021) and 'No Other Choice' (2022). Here Dillon was able to gain access to stories that the mainstream media were discussing at the time. Dillon aims to continue as a documentary filmmaker telling stories surrounding similar topics to his previous work and developing the way these stories are told using different filmmaking techniques.
